I couldn't resist going back for another go, I will be doing some portraits with more bikers soon, but in this case it was just good to go back and get some more shots for my project - and my entertainment. 

So the exhibition came and went, there will be a blog to follow on that shortly, but with it out the way I'm straight back to getting photos. Last week I headed down to Poole Quay Bike night, held on Tuesday evenings at Poole Quay - if you like bikes, I recommend a visit. 

Just a few shots from the bike night that happens at Poole Quay every Tuesday which runs through most of spring and summer. 

Lady bikers from around the area, predominantly from the Solent Lady Bikers group gathered together at Loomie's Cafe in Hampshire to raise funds for the Air Ambulance.  Here's a few of the photos from this event.

Just a few snaps from a walk at Micheldever Woods - I don't include most of my nature work in my main portfolio but it's always here for you to see, and often available to buy as prints in my shop. 

I learned some valuable lessons around camera settings for this one lol, I have to take my smaller camera as I can't get a press pass and they don't like you just turning up with a bigger camera (not that mine is that big). So clearly I need some practice with my mirrorless because the settings weren't quite right. Here are a few snaps, I'm thinking of contacting one of the smaller comic cons to see if they'll allow me a press pass or to bring my bigger camera, so I can get some practice without spending on tickets to lots of bigger comic cons. If you happen to work for one in the UK, let me know if this is something you can assist with, help is gratefully received.

So this is a fairly old project, that I still occasionally play with in the background, here you'll see a few sets from pre-Covid, and then the Covid sets that came from there. 

As part of my ongoing project, Alternatives, I photographed Anna Muir, a musician I had previously photographed at an open mic night at The Railway Inn, Winchester.
